✧ The Virtue of Hajj

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ قَالَ:

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي رَجُلٌ جَبَانٌ، لَا أُطِيقُ لِقَاءَ الْعَدُوِّ قَالَ: أَفَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى جِهَادٍ لَا قِتَالَ فِيهِ ؟ " قَالَ: بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ: " عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ

Translation

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: “I am a coward and cannot face the enemy.” He said: “Shall I not guide you to a jihad in which there is no fighting?” He said: “Yes, O Messenger of God.” He said: “Upon you is Hajj and Umrah.”
