أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا رَجُلٌ، مِنْ وَلَدِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ غَطَفَانَ، فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ أَكْلِ الْوَرَلِ ؟ فَقَالَ: " لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مَعَكُمْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ فَأَطْعِمُونَا
Translation
✧ I was with Ibn al-Musayyab when a man from Ghatafan came to him and asked him about eating monitor lizard? He said: "There is no harm in it, and if you have any of it with you, then feed us."
