Translation
✧ Two roasted dabb lizards were brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and Khalid b. al-Walid was with him. The Prophet ﷺ reached out his hand to eat it, but it was said: "It is a dabb." So he withheld his hand. Khalid said: "Is it forbidden, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "No, but it is not found in the land of my people and I find myself averse to it." He said: So Khalid ate while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ watched him.
