أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
سَأَلَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ حِيتَانٍ أَلْقَاهَا الْبَحْرُ أَمَيْتَةٌ هِيَ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، فَنَهَاهُ عَنْ أَكْلِهَا "، فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ دَعَا بِالْمُصْحَفِ فَقَرَأَ: ﴿أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ ﴾قَالَ: فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: قَدْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ، وَطَعَامُهُ، مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ فَكُلْهُ فَلَيْسَ بِهِ بَأْسٌ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مَيِّتًا
Translation
✧ Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Hurayrah asked him about fish that the sea cast out: are they carrion? He said: "Yes," and he forbade eating them. When he entered the house, he called for the mushaf and recited: "Lawful to you is the game of the sea and its food as provision for you and for the travelers." He said: Then he sent to him and said: "The game of the sea and its food have been made lawful to you. What comes out of it, eat it; there is no harm in it, even if it is dead."
