✧ The Sunnah of Slaughter

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ قَالَ:

مَنْ ذَبَحَ بَعِيرًا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ مُتَعَمِّدًا لَمْ يُؤْكَلْ، وَإِنْ ذَبَحَ شَاةً مِنْ فَصِّهَا مُتَعَمِّدًا، يَعْنِي الْفَصَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا لَمْ تُؤْكَلْ

Translation

✧ Whoever slaughters a camel from behind it intentionally, it is not eaten; and if he slaughters a sheep from its joint intentionally, meaning the joint, intentionally, it is not eaten.
