✧ The Slaughter of the Woman, the Boy, and the Bedouin

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ أَمَةً لِكَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ كَانَتْ تَرْعَى غَنَمًا لَهُ بِسَلْعٍ، فَأَتَى الْمَوْتُ شَاةً مِنْهَا، فَأَخَذَتْ ظُرَرَةً فَكَسَرَتْهَا فَذَبَحَتْهَا فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِأَكْلِهَا
Translation
✧ A slave woman belonging to Kab b. Malik used to tend sheep for him at Sal. Death came to one of the sheep, so she took a sharp stone, broke it, and slaughtered it. The Prophet ﷺ ordered him to eat it.
