عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يَقُولُ:
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ هَاجِرُوا وَلَا تَهَجَّرُوا، وَلْيَتَّقِ أَحَدُكُمُ الْأَرْنَبَ يَحْذِفُهَا بِالْعَصَا، أَوْ يَرْمِيهَا بِالْحَجَرِ، وَلَكِنْ لِيُذَكِّ لَكُمُ الْأَسَلُ: الرِّمَاحُ، وَالنَّبْلُ
Translation
✧ “O people, perform hijrah and do not merely claim it. Let each of you be wary of a hare that he strikes with a stick or throws a stone at. Rather, let the asal—the spears—and the arrows make it lawful for you.”
