عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ:
إِنْ رَمَيْتَ صَيْدًا فَمَاتَ فِي يَدِكَ فَكُلْهُ، فَإِنْ أَخَذْتَهُ وَأَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَسْتَبْقِيَهُ، فَمَاتَ فِي يَدِكَ فَلَا تَأْكُلْهُ
Translation
✧ If you shoot game and it dies in your hand, then eat it. But if you take it and intend to keep it alive, and it dies in your hand, then do not eat it.
