✧ The Trained Animal Eating

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
يَصْطَادُ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ الْبِيزَانُ وَغَيْرُهَا، فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتَ ذَكَاتَهُ فَكُلْ، وَإِلَّا فَلَا تَطْعَمْهُ، وَأَمَّا الْكَلْبُ الْمُعَلَّمُ فَكُلْ مِمَّا أَمْسَكَ عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنْ أَكَلَ مِنْهُ
Translation
✧ He hunts with birds such as hawks and others; if you reach it while it is still alive and can slaughter it, then eat, otherwise do not eat it. As for the trained dog, eat from what it has held for you, even if it has eaten from it.
