✧ The Game of the Trained Animal, and Whether Hunting Dogs Are Sent after Carrion

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو قَالَ:
سُئِلَ الْحَسَنُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَجِدُ مَعَ كَلْبِهِ صَيْدًا، فَلَا يَجِدُ شَيْئًا يُذَكِّيهِ بِهِ فَيَتْرُكُهُ فِي يَدِهِ فَيَقْتُلُهُ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا بَأْسَ بِأَكْلِهِ
Translation
✧ Al-Hasan was asked about a man who finds game with his dog, but finds nothing with which to slaughter it, so he leaves it in his hand and it kills it. He said: "There is no harm in eating it."
