عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
إِنْ رَمَيْتَ طَائِرًا بِحَجَرٍ، فَقَطَعْتَ مِنْهُ عُضْوًا، وَأَدْرَكْتَهُ حَيًّا، فَإِنَّ الْعُضْوَ مِنْهُ مَيْتَةٌ، وَذَكِّ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْهُ وَكُلْهُ، وَإِنْ طَعَنْتَ بِرُمْحِكَ صَيْدًا فَقَتَلْتَهُ، أَوْ ضَرَبْتَهُ بِسَيْفِكَ فَجَزَلْتَهُ فَكَانَتْ إِيَّاهَا فَكُلْهُ
Translation
✧ If you shoot a bird with a stone and cut off a limb from it, and you find it alive, then that limb is carrion; slaughter what remains of it and eat it. And if you thrust your spear into game and kill it, or strike it with your sword and cut it in two, then it is that [i.e., properly killed], so eat it.
