✧ Game, slaughtering it, and lying in wait for it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ قَالَ:
وَإِذَا رَمَيْتَ صَيْدًا فِي الْحِلِّ فَأَصَبْتَهُ، ثُمَّ قَعَدَا حَتَّى دَخَلَ الْحَرَمَ فَتَلِفَ فِيهِ فَلَا تَأْكُلْهُ، وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ شَيْءٌ "، قَالَ: " وَيَقُولُونَ فِي الْكَلْبِ يُرْسَلُ فِي الْحِلِّ فَتَعَدَّى حَتَّى يُصِيبَ فِي الْحَرَمِ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ
Translation
✧ If you shoot game outside the Sacred Precincts and hit it, then you wait until it enters the Sacred Precincts and dies there, do not eat it, and nothing is due from you. He said: 'They say regarding a dog sent out in the outside area that goes beyond and catches game in the Sacred Precincts, that nothing is due from the sender.'
