✧ Game, slaughtering it, and lying in wait for it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ:
رَمَيْتُ صَيْدًا فَأَصَبْتُ مَقْتَلَهُ، فَوَجَدْتُ بِهِ رَمَقًا وَفَاتَتْنِي ذَكَاتُهُ، قَالَ: " فَلَا تَأْكُلْهُ
Translation
✧ I shot game and hit it fatally, but I found it still alive, and the time for slaughtering it had passed. He said: 'Do not eat it.'
