✧ What the muhrim is forbidden from eating of game

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ قَالَ:
قَدِمَ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ، فَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَسْتَذْكِرُهُ كَيْفَ أَخْبَرْتَنِي عَنْ لَحْمٍ، أُهْدِيَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَرَامًا ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ أُهْدِيَ لَهُ عُضْوٌ مِنْ لَحْمِ صَيْدٍ فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّا لَا نَأْكُلُهُ إِنَّا حُرُمٌ
Translation
✧ Zayd b. Arqam came, and Ibn Abbas asked him to recall: How did you tell me about the meat that was gifted to the Prophet ﷺ while he was in ihram? He said: Yes, a limb of game meat was gifted to him, and he returned it to him, saying: We do not eat it, for we are in ihram.
