✧ What the muhrim is forbidden from eating of game

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ قَالَ:
مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا بِالْأَبْوَاءِ فَأَهْدَيْتُ لَهُ حِمَارَ وَحْشٍ فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيَّ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى الْكَرَاهِيَةَ فِي وَجْهِي قَالَ: إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بِنَا رَدٌّ عَلَيْكَ، وَلَكِنَّا حُرُمٌ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was at al-Abwa. I gave him a wild donkey as a gift, but he returned it to me. When he saw the displeasure on my face, he said: It is not that we are refusing it to you, but we are in ihram.
