عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: فَإِنْ كَانَ حَرْدٌ غَيْرَ بَطْحٍ يُجْزِئُ عَنِّي ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ قَالَ: الْبَطْحَاءُ مِنِّي قَرِيبٌ، أَفَتُحِبُّ أَنْ تَمْسَحَ مِنْهَا ؟ قَالَ: إِنْ كَانَتْ قَرِيبًا فَعَفِّرْ بِهَا كَفَّيْكَ ثَلَاثًا، وَلَا تَمْسَحْ فِي ذَلِكَ الْوَجْهَ، وَلَا تَنْفُضْهَا، ثُمَّ تَمْسَحُ بِوَجْهِكَ وَكَفَّيْكَ مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً قَطُّ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to Ata: If there is hard ground other than smooth pebbles, will it suffice me? He said: Yes. He said: The smooth pebbles are close to me; would you like to wipe from it? He said: If it is close, then rub your hands with it three times, and do not wipe the face in that, and do not shake them, then wipe your face and your two hands with a single wipe only.
