Translation
✧ A man from the Ansar trod upon an ostrich nest while he was in ihram—meaning its nest—and broke an egg. He asked Ali, who said, “You owe a camel fetus,” or he said, “the covering of a camel.” The Ansari went out and came to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. The Prophet ﷺ said, “I have heard what Ali said, but come to the concession: fasting or feeding a poor person.”
