✧ The pigeon and other birds that the muhrim kills

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ،

وَسُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مُحْرِمٍ أَصَابَ حَمَامَةً مِنْ حَمَامِ الْحَرَمِ، فَقَالَ: ﴿يَحْكُمُ بِهِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِنْكُمْ ﴾قَالَ: " شَاةٌ ثُمَّ يَحْكُمُ فِي كُلِّ بَيْضَةٍ دِرْهَمٌ

Translation

✧ He was asked about a muhrim man who killed a pigeon from the pigeons of the Haram, and he said: 'Two just men among you judge concerning it.' He said: 'A sheep; then for each egg, a dirham.'
