✧ The pigeon and other birds that the muhrim kills

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَرَّرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَطَاءً يَقُولُ:
فِي بُغَاثِ الطَّيْرِ مُدٌّ مُدٌّ، يَعْنِي الرَّخْمَةَ، وَأَشْبَاهَهَا
Translation
✧ For the small birds of prey, a mudd, a mudd — that is, the vulture and its like.
