✧ The dabb lizard and the hyena

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ:
فِي الضَّبِّ " حَفْنَةٌ مِنْ طَعَامٍ لِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ يَأْكُلْهُ
Translation
✧ Regarding the dabb: a handful of food, because the Messenger of God ﷺ did not eat it.
