✧ Whichever expiations he wishes, he may expiate

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ
فِي رَجُلٍ أَصَابَ صَيْدًا، فَلَمْ يَجِدْ جَزَاءَهُ قَالَ: " يُقَوَّمُ دَرَاهِمَ، ثُمَّ تُقَوَّمُ الدَّرَاهِمُ طَعَامًا، ثُمَّ يَصُومُ لِكُلِّ صَاعٍ يَوْمَيْنِ
Translation
✧ About a man who killed game and could not find its compensation. He said: "It is valued in dirhams, then the dirhams are valued in food, then he fasts two days for each sa‘."
