عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مِخْنَفٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: " هَلْ تَعْرِفُونَهَا ؟ "، قَالَ: فَلَا أَدْرِي مَا رَجَعُوا عَلَيْهِ قَالَ: فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: عَلَى كُلِّ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ أَنْ يَذْبَحُوا شَاةً فِي كُلِّ رَجَبٍ، وَفِي كُلِّ أَضْحَى شَاةً
Translation
✧ I reached the Prophet ﷺ on the day of ʿArafah while he was saying: 'Do you know it?' He said: I do not know what they replied. He said: The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Every household must slaughter a sheep in every Rajab, and at every sacrifice a sheep.'
