✧ The sacrifices

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ عَلْقَمَةُ:
لَأَنْ لَا أُضَحِّيَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَرَاهُ حَتْمًا عَلَيَّ
Translation
✧ That I should not offer a sacrifice is dearer to me than that I should consider it obligatory upon me.
