Translation

✧ Umar b. al-Khattab walked among the rows of women and noticed a pleasant scent from a woman's head. He said, "If I knew which of you it was, I would do such and such. Let one of you perfume herself for her husband, and when she goes out, let her wear the worn-out garments of her slave girl." He said, "It reached me that the woman who had perfumed herself urinated in her clothes out of fear."
