✧ The one in I'tikaf, his buying, and seeking worldly matters

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:

لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يُخَاصِمَ الْمُعْتَكِفُ إِلَى أَمِيرٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، أَوْ يَتَجَازَى غَرِيمًا، أَوْ يُوصِيَ أَهْلَهُ فِي صَنِيعِهِمْ وَصَلَاحِ مَعِيشَتِهِمْ، وَيَكْتُبَ كِتَابًا فِي حَاجَتِهِ

Translation

✧ There is no harm in the one in I'tikaf litigating before a commander in the mosque, or settling with a debtor, or advising his family about their work and the welfare of their livelihood, and writing a letter concerning his need.
