عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبَانُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ شُرَيْحٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ شُرَيْحًا كَانَ يَقُولُ:
لِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ، وَلِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثُ لَيَالٍ
Translation
✧ For the resident, a day until night, and for the traveler, three nights.
