أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
مَا صَنَعَتْ لِي أُمِّي يَوْمَ خُتِنْتُ إِلَّا عَصِيدَةً بِتَمْرٍ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us, he said: Maʿmar informed us, from Hishām b. ʿUrwah, from his father, who said:
✧ My mother did nothing for me on the day I was circumcised except make 'asidah (a dish) with dates.
