عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ:
يُعَقُّ عَنِ الْغُلَامِ شَاةٌ، وَلَا يُعَقُّ عَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ لَيْسَتْ عَلَيْهَا عَقِيقَةٌ
Translation

✧ For a boy a sheep is offered as ʿaqīqah, but no ʿaqīqah is offered for a girl; there is no ʿaqīqah upon her.
