✧ How much one may wipe over the leather socks

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْأَوْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ:
جَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ لِلْمُسَافِرِ، وَيَوْمًا لِلْمُقِيمِ، فَأَيْمُ اللهِ لَوْ مَضَى السَّائِلُ فِي مَسْأَلَتِهِ لَجَعَلَهُ خَمْسًا
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ set three days for the traveler and one day for the resident. By God, if the questioner had continued in his questioning, he would have made it five.
