✧ Fasting during the sacred months

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَصُومُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ: لَا يُفْطِرُ، وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ: لَا يَصُومُ، وَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اسْتَكْمَلَ شَهْرًا قَطُّ إِلَّا رَمَضَانَ، وَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ فِي شَهْرٍ قَطُّ أَكْثَرَ صِيَامًا مِنْهُ فِي شَعْبَانَ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would fast until we said: He will not break his fast. And he would break his fast until we said: He will not fast. I did not see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ever complete a month except Ramadan. And I did not see him in any month fast more than he did in Sha'ban.
