✧ Fasting on the Day of Ashura

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً، يَزْعُمُ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ " أَمَرَ بِصِيَامِ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ قَالُوا: كَيْفَ بِمَنْ أَكَلَ ؟ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَكَلَ أَوْ لَمْ يَأْكُلْ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ commanded the fast of the Day of Ashura. They said: What about one who has eaten? He said: "Whoever has eaten or has not eaten."
