✧ Fasting on Friday

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ،
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَهِيَ صَائِمَةٌ، فَقَالَ: أَصُمْتِ أَمْسِ ؟ قَالَتْ: لَا، فَقَالَ: " أَتُرِيدِينَ أَنْ تَصُومِي غَدًا ؟ " قَالَتْ: لَا فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تُفْطِرَ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered upon one of his wives on Friday while she was fasting. He said, 'Did you fast yesterday?' She said, 'No.' He said, 'Do you intend to fast tomorrow?' She said, 'No.' So he ordered her to break her fast.
