✧ Breaking a voluntary fast and fasting it if one did not intend it at night

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ:
لَا صَوْمَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يُزْمِعِ الصِّيَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ
Translation
✧ There is no fast for one who does not resolve to fast at night.
