✧ Making up Ramadan in the ten days

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ قَالَ: إِنَّ عَلَيَّ أَيَّامًا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، أَفَأَصُومُ الْعَشْرَ تَطَوُّعًا ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، وَلِمَ ؟ ابْدَأْ بِحَقِّ اللهِ، ثُمَّ تَطَوَّعْ بَعْدُ مَا شِئْتَ
Translation
✧ I heard Abu Hurayrah when a man asked him, saying: I owe days from Ramadan; shall I fast the ten days as voluntary? He said: No. And why? Begin with God's right, then volunteer afterward as much as you wish.
