Translation

✧ Al-Juhani, Abdullah b. Unays, came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have burdens and property'—and he was a farmer—'so command me with a night.' He said, 'Or two nights?' He said, 'Rather one night.' He called him and whispered to him twice or three times, and commanded him with the night of the twenty-third. He would spend that night in the mosque and not leave it until morning, and he would not attend anything in Ramadan before it or after it, nor on the day of Eid al-Fitr.
