✧ Wiping over the leather socks

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
إِذَا أَدْخَلَ الرَّجُلُ رِجْلَيْهِ فِي الْخُفَّيْنِ وَهُمَا طَاهِرَتَانِ، ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ لِلْحَاجَةِ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ. وَإِنْ كَانَ يَقُولُ: أَمَرَ بِذَلِكَ عُمَرُ
Translation
✧ When a man puts his feet into the leather socks while they are pure, then goes to relieve himself, then performs ablution for prayer, he should wipe over his leather socks. He said that Umar commanded that.
