✧ The sick person in Ramadan and his making up the fast

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ:
إِذَا مَرِضَ الرَّجُلُ فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ مَرِيضًا حَتَّى يَمُوتَ، فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ، فَإِنْ صَحَّ فَلَمْ يَقْضِهِ حَتَّى مَاتَ أُطْعِمَ عَنْهُ عَنْ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مَكُّوكٌ مِنْ بُرٍّ، وَمَكُّوكٌ مِنْ تَمْرٍ
Translation
✧ If a man falls sick in Ramadan and remains sick until he dies, nothing is required of him. But if he recovers and does not make it up until he dies, then food is given on his behalf for each day: a makkuk of wheat and a makkuk of dates.
