✧ Hastening the breaking of the fast

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ إِلَى أُمَرَاءِ الْأَمْصَارِ: " أَنْ لَا تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُسَوِّفِينَ بِفِطْرِكُمْ، وَلَا الْمُنْتَظِرِينَ بِصَلَاتِكُمُ اشْتِبَاكَ النُّجُومِ
Translation
✧ ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb wrote to the commanders of the garrison cities: "Do not be among those who delay your breaking of the fast, nor among those who wait for the interlacing of the stars for your prayer."
