عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَؤُهَا: ( وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطَوَّقُونَهُ )، وَيَقُولُ: " هُوَ الشَّيْخُ الْكَبِيرُ الَّذِي لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الصِّيَامَ فَيُفْطِرُ، وَيُطْعِمُ عَنْ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مِسْكِينًا نِصْفَ صَاعٍ مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ
Translation
✧ He used to recite it as: 'And upon those who are made to bear it,' and he would say: 'It is the elderly person who is not able to fast, so he breaks the fast and feeds a poor person half a sa' of wheat for each day.'
