✧ Cupping for the fasting person

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنِ اسْتَحْجَمَ إِنْسَانٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ يَقْضِي يَوْمًا مَكَانَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَدْ أَفْطَرَ، وَيُكَفِّرُ بِمَا قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ أَنَّ إِنْسَانًا حَجَمَ سَاقَهُ ؟ قَالَ: " - حَسْبُهُ - سَوَاءٌ قَدْ أَفْطَرَ
Translation
✧ I said to Ata, "What do you think if a person has cupping done in Ramadan? Does he make up a day in place of that day?" He said, "Yes, he has broken his fast, and he must expiate according to what the Prophet ﷺ said." I asked, "What do you think if a person cups his shin?" He said, "It is the same; he has broken his fast."
