✧ Wiping over the leather socks

قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ: قَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ:
امْسَحْ عَلَيْهَا مَا تَعَلَّقَتْ بِهِ رِجْلُكَ، وَهَلْ كَانَتْ خِفَافُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ إِلَّا مُخَرَّقَةً مُشَقَّقَةً مُرَقَّعَةً
Translation
✧ Wipe over them as long as your foot stays attached to them. Were the leather socks of the Muhajirun and the Ansar anything but tattered, split, and patched?
