✧ Rinsing the mouth for the fasting person

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ - لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ عُمَرَ - قَالَ:
إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًا فَأَفْطَرَ، فَلَا يُمَضْمِضْ ثُمَّ يَمُجُّهُ، وَلَكَنْ لِيَشْرَبْهُ، فَإِنَّ أَوَّلَهُ خَيْرُهُ، وَلَا يَمْسَحْ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا أَوْ يُلْعِقَهَا
Translation
✧ When one of you is fasting and breaks his fast, he should not rinse his mouth and then spit it out; rather, he should drink it, for its first part is its best. And he should not wipe his hand with a towel until he licks it or has it licked.
