✧ The use of siwak for the fasting person

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ مَنْ
سَمِعَ مَيْمُونَ بْنَ مِهْرَانَ يَكْرَهُ السِّوَاكَ لِلصَّائِمِ آخِرَ النَّهَارِ، فَسَأَلْتُ الْحَسَنَ، فَقَالَ: " لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ آخِرَ النَّهَارِ إِنَّمَا هُوَ طَهُورٌ فَلْيَسْتَكْ أَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ
Translation
✧ He heard Maymun b. Mihran disapproving of the siwak for the fasting person at the end of the day, so he asked al-Hasan, who said: 'There is no harm in it at the end of the day. It is only a means of purification, so let him use it at the beginning and the end of the day.'
