✧ The man invited to food while fasting

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، وَقَتَادَةَ قَالَا:
إِذَا دُعِيَ إِنْسَانٌ إِلَى طَعَامٍ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَلْيَقُلْ: إِنِّي صَائِمٌ
Translation
✧ When a man is invited to eat while he is fasting, he should say: 'I am fasting.'
