Translation
✧ The people broke their fast during the time of 'Umar. He said: I saw large bowls being brought out from the house of Hafsah, and they drank in Ramadan. Then the sun emerged from behind clouds, and that seemed hard on the people. They said: 'Shall we make up this day?' 'Umar said: 'Why? By Allah, we have not inclined to any sin.'
