✧ Breaking the fast on a cloudy day

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ:

إِذَا أَفْطَرَ الرَّجُلُ فِي رَمَضَانَ، ثُمَّ بَدَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَعَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَقْضِيَهُ، وَإِنْ أَكَلَ فِي الصُّبْحِ، وَهُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ اللَّيْلُ لَمْ يَقْضِهِ

Translation

✧ If a man breaks his fast in Ramadan and then the sun appears, he must make it up; but if he eats at dawn while thinking it is still night, he does not have to make it up.
