✧ Breaking the fast on a cloudy day

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَفْطَرْتُ فِي يَوْمٍ مُغَيَّمٍ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ، وَأَنَا أَحْسَبُهُ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ، ثُمَّ بَدَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَالَ: اقْضِ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ
Translation
✧ I said to 'Ata': 'I broke the fast on a cloudy day in the month of Ramadan, and I thought it was the beginning of the night, then the sun appeared.' He said: 'Make up that day.'
