✧ The chaining of devils and the virtue of Ramadan

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ،
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِشَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ: إِنَّ هَذَا الشَّهْرَ قَدْ حَضَرَ، وَإِنَّهُ شَهْرٌ مُبَارَكٌ افْتَرَضَ اللهُ صِيَامَهُ، تُغْلَقُ فِيهِ أَبْوَابُ الْجَحِيمِ، وَتُفْتَحُ فِيهِ أَبْوَابُ الْجِنَانِ، وَتُغَلُّ فِيهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ، فِيهِ لَيْلَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ، مَنْ حُرِمَهَا فَقَدْ حُرِمَ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said about the month of Ramadan: Indeed this month has arrived, and it is a blessed month. Allah has made its fasting obligatory. In it the gates of Hell are closed, the gates of Paradise are opened, and the devils are chained. In it there is a night better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of it has indeed been deprived.
