Translation
✧ From al-Thawrī concerning a Christian who embraced Islam at the end of the day: He said: Whoever follows the view of ʿAṭāʾ says: He prays Ẓuhr and ʿAṣr. Whoever follows the view of al-Ḥasan says: He prays ʿAṣr and does not pray Ẓuhr. And he said: If he embraces Islam during the month of Ramadan, he does not fast that day on which he embraced Islam, but he is commanded not to eat until evening.
