✧ The distinction between Ramadan and Sha'ban

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا أَصْبَحَ رَجُلٌ مُفْطِرًا، وَلَمْ يَذُقْ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ عَلِمَ بِرُؤْيَتِهِ أَوَّلَ النَّهَارِ أَوْ آخِرَهُ فَلْيَصُمْ مَا بَقِيَ، وَلَا يُبْدِلْهُ
Translation
✧ If a man wakes up not fasting and has not tasted anything, then learns of the sighting at the beginning of the day or at its end, he should fast for the remainder of the day and does not have to make it up.
